“We’re very proud to be involved in this fantastic scheme. It not only proactively diverts young people away from crime, but also helps build and transfer positive skills onto the streets, such as teamwork and good sportsmanship.”

Gary Buttercase Deputy Borough Commander for Newham.

City Dip

Into your swimming? Well so are we. That’s why we organised a City swimathon at Golden Lane Leisure at the end of February. The Lord Mayor’s Appeal annual sponsored swim is an event that raises money for children from London’s underprivileged boroughs. It was simply a case of giving details and coming to joining us on the day, and many of you did! And you got your friends involved too. The details are below, To read more about why the City dip took place download the brochure: City Dip Brochure
When?
the 26th and the 27th of February
Where?
Golden Lane Leisure centre
Why?
A fantastic, easy thing for the children of London. The money raised from the City Dip goes to the most deprived areas of London. To read more about what we do and where the money goes click here.  Pictures of the event will be uploaded, so keep checking back.
