Dinner and entertainment with the Sheriffs

We joined the Sheriffs for Dinner at the Plaisterers' Hall

 

For a fascinating and entertaining evening with Christopher Martin Jenkins and Justin Webb.

Two great raconteurs talked about Cricket, America and World Affairs based on their own experience from all parts of the globe.

Christopher Martin Jenkins

Christopher sports career began as Captain of cricket at Marlborough followed by Captain of Cambridge University Crusaders for two years.

In 1970 Christopher became the Sports Braodcaster for the BBC and eventually in 1974 became their Cricket Correspondent. Since 1981 he has been the editor of The Cricketer magazine and a freelance BBC Radio and television Cricket commentator.

Justin Webb

Justin Webb is a presentor of the BBC Radio 4 Today programme, a role he took up in August 2009.

Justin joined the Today team from Washington where he was the BBC's North American Editor since December 2007.

For six years he was the BBC Radion Chief Washington Correspondent, and has previously been an occasional presenter of the Today programme and Broadcasting House.
