The Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress will host their Grand Finale at Guildhall on Monday 29th October 2018. The event will mark the end of the 2017-18 mayoral year.
We are excited that this year's event is being organised in partnership with Diverse City, who are supporting charities that have been affected by the revelations following The President's Club dunner. For more information on Diverse City please click here.
Although plans are still being finalised for the evening, the event will begin at 6.30pm with a Champagne reception followed by dinner in the Great Hall from 7.15pm. The evening will involve a three course dinner with wines, a live and silent auction as well as thought provoking speeches by The Rt Hon The Lord Mayor of the City of London Alderman Charles Bowman and Helena Morrissey DBE. We also have George The Poet performing, and there will be music from students from the Royal Academy of Music. Carriages will be at 10.45pm. The dress code for the event is black tie.
Tables cost £11,000, with the net proceeds to be split 50:50 between the The Lord Mayor's Appeal and Diverse City. The list of charities we will be raising money for are:
The Lord Mayor’s Appeal: Place2Be, OnSide Youth Zones and Samaritans
