Lord Mayor's Golf Dinner and Golf Day

The Lord Mayor's Appeal Golf Dinner and Golf Day, hosted by Lord Mayor Alderman Nicholas Lyons, will take place at Royal St George's Golf Club in Sandwich, Kent on Sunday 2 July 2023 (Dinner) and Monday 3 July 2023 (Golf). This classic links course is regularly judged to be amongst the UK's Top 10 courses and played host to The 149th Open in 2021.

The event will begin on the evening of Sunday 2 July 2023 at 7pm in the Clubhouse with a glass of champagne on arrival, three course dinner with wine and a fundraising auction. The following day, on Monday 3 July 2023 from 7am-3pm, guests will enjoy a superb day out playing four ball golf on the beautiful course at Royal St George’s and afterwards have lunch and prize-giving in the Clubhouse.

This event is open to 20 teams of 4 players at £2,000 per team, which includes both the golf day and the fundraising dinner the night before. Extra places for the dinner are available at £100 per person, subject to availability. Please note that accommodation is not included and all players must have a handicap index of 18.4 or less to play at the Club.

Net proceeds will primarily go to The Lord Mayor’s Appeal with 10% of net funds raised given to Royal St George’s Community Fund.
