The annual Lord Mayor's Appeal Golf Day took place on Monday 17th July at Burhill Golf Club in Surrey, organised by the Worshipful Company of Horners. The event was a sell-out with 25 teams primarily from livery companies taking part.

The day began with breakfast in the stunning clubhouse followed by a shotgun start at 9am. Teams enjoyed the glorious summer day on the immaculate course and afterwards were joined by the Lord Mayor for a refreshing glass of Pimms on the terrace before heading upstairs for a sumtuous 3-course lunch. After lunch the Lord Mayor spoke briefly and presented prizes for winning teams and individuals as well as the runner ups. Over the course of the day there was also a silent auction and a raffle with some fantastic prizes on offer, all kindly donated.

The Lord Mayor's Appeal would like to express their sincere thank yous to the organising Committee - Colin Richards, Jack Bunyer, Colin Freedman, Keith Baker, Steve Bradbury and David Williams - as well as everyone who took part, donated prizes or supported the event in another way.
