Evolving from a single-day event into a year-round programme, City Giving Day champions a City that Cares while building sustained, long-term charitable commitment across the business community.
Held annually in September, City Giving Day will continue to provide a powerful focal moment to showcase the City’s positive impact on society, bringing organisations together to celebrate their collective contribution through fundraising and volunteering. Since its launch in 2015, participation has grown year on year, reflecting the programme’s increasing reach and influence.
From 2026 onwards, City Giving Day will continue to expand its reach, inspiring even more organisations to take part not only in London but across the UK. As a flagship programme of The Lord Mayor’s Appeal, bringing businesses together to celebrate their contribition to making our City a better place for everyone and acting as a powerful catalyst for change.
