Power of Inclusion Social Mobility Workshop Series: Building Effective Networks
Join the Lord Mayor Alderman Nicholas Lyons at the next workshop in our Power of Inclusion social mobility workshop series. Chaired by Dan Robertson, Director of Vercida Consulting and chair of the Power of Inclusion Senior Leadership Forum, the event will focus on building effective networks. You will hear from expert speakers and other organisations about the power of networks in progressing social mobility and best practice when building employee networks.
The Lord Mayor’s Appeal’s Power of Inclusion initiative aims to create a City that is inclusive and open to everyone regardless of background. From 2022-2024 the programme is focused on social mobility and will enable your business to gain expert insights from others, share best practice on policies and programmes, and collaborate for effective change.
At this workshop, we are facilitating a space for senior leaders, DEI champions and social mobility experts to hear keynote speeches and engage in roundtable discussions exploring the following themes:
- The power of supportive networks to enable those from lower socio-economic backgrounds to progress in their careers
- The benefits of developing formal and informal networks around social mobility
- The role of allyship within and across networks
- The tools and resources that have helped other organisations to develop strong employee social mobility networks
The workshop will be kindly hosted by Janus Henderson Investors at 201 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 3AE.
If you would like to join the conversation at the Power of Inclusion workshop on Wednesday 5th July, 08:00 - 10:00am, please reach out to request a place. This event is free to attend but spaces are limited so please do register now.
You can reserve your place by emailing your name, job title and organisation name to Imogen Chaillet at inclusion@thelordmayorsappeal.org
