The Long Long Lunch Returns for 2026

Wednesday 23 September 2026 will see the return of The Long Long Lunch, as St Swithin’s Lane once again hosts one of the City’s most distinctive outdoor dining experiences in support of the Lady Mayor’s City Giving Day.

Following the success of previous events in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, The Long Long Lunch will bring together a collection of leading City restaurants for a collaborative dining experience celebrating hospitality, exceptional food and wine, and community in the heart of London.

Guests will be welcomed from 12.30pm at St Stephen Walbrook Church, where they will enjoy Charles Heidsieck Champagne, canapés and live music from renowned pianist K.T. Mantere. At 1.00pm, guests will take their seats at the iconic long table on St Swithin’s Lane for an unforgettable afternoon.

The specially curated menu will include salmon confit from Bleeding Heart, wood pigeon salad from Goosebox Hospitality by No.1 Lombard Street, cod with mussels and cider velouté from The Don Restaurant, and a Granny Smith apple parfait from Coq d’Argent. 

Matching wines, coffee and macarons are included as part of the experience.
