Volunteer roles: 

Breakfast City Walks: Total number of volunteer spaces: 4 

Registration set-up support. Welcome walkers upon arrival and register them for their relevant walk slot. (2 volunteers) 

Photography: Accompany walkers capturing candid photos of the event on phones (to be shared with The Lord Mayor’s Appeal Team). (2volunteer) 

Duration: 1 hour (08:15-09:15)

Tour de City Total number of volunteer spaces: 6 

Registration support: Welcome riders and register them and their teams. Hand out Tour de City’ t-shirts to  

participants. Ensure riders’ waivers have been completed by the registration supervisor.  

Location: The Leadenhall Building 

Duration:  2 or 4 hours (10:30-12:30, 12:30-14:30 or 10:30-14:30)

City Walks Total number of volunteer spaces: 16  

Wayfinders: To stand at an allocated entrance to Guildhall Yard directing participants to registration. (3 volunteers) 

Registration set-up support. Welcome walkers upon arrival and register them for their relevant walk slot. (2 volunteers) 

Photography: Accompany walkers capturing candid photos of the event on phones (to be shared with The Lord Mayor’s Appeal Team). (6 volunteers) 

Location: Guildhall Yard 

Duration: 2 hours (11:30-13:30)

Treasure Hunt Total number of volunteer spaces: 5 

Participant assisting: Registration set-up support. Welcome hunters and register their teams. Hand out treasure hunt packs recording their start time. 

Support teams with the taking of group photos. Congratulate returning teams and record hunt team’s times. (3 volunteers) 

Location: Outside Mansion House 

Evening City Walks Total number of volunteer spaces: 4 

Registration set-up support. Welcome walkers upon arrival and register them for their relevant walk slot. (2 volunteers) 

Photography: Accompany walkers capturing candid photos of the event on phones (to be shared with The Lord Mayor’s Appeal Team). (2volunteers) 

Location: Guildhall Yard 

Duration: 1 hour (08:15-09:15)

Quiz Night Total number of volunteer spaces: 8 

Quiz Mastering:  Act as the emcee for the quiz; welcoming teams, asking questions (provided by The Appeal) and keeping the quiz to time.(3 volunteers) 

Quiz support and marking:Set up quiz papers etc at allocated venue. Welcome quiz teams upon arrival.  Support quiz master in marking quiz papers throughout the evening.  

Thanks and goodbyes to quiz teams.  Tidy up host venue collecting pens and other remaining collateral. 

Location: Various host business offices around the City.(5 volunteers) 

Duration: 3 hours (17:30-20:30)
