"The Power of Diversity programme is powerful indeed.  Some of the diversity and inclusivity initiatives that we have been most proud of in the last two years were born at a PoD breakfast.  We have found so many of these meetings nothing short of inspirational, none more so than when we get to hear from people who’ve benefitted directly from what diversity and inclusion has to offer.”

Raj S. Panasar, Partner, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP

This excellent series is a great opportunity to share best practice. If you are serious about addressing diversity issues, why wouldn’t you attend?”

Nicholas Cheffings, Chair, Hogan Lovells

"The LMA Power of Diversity Programme is wholly inspiring, educational and influential."

It’s not a talk shop

Diversity & Inclusion is now a business performance imperative, it is not about being ‘nice’.

The breakfasts provide an opportunity to showcase real life success stories, collaborate, gather new ideas and provide tools to enable members to implement learnings within their own businesses.

The full 2017 Power of Diversity Series Programme, which includes further information about the content and speakers of each breakfast can be viewed here. Alternatively, take a look at our upcoming events here.

The Lord Mayor will attend each breakfast and will be joined by expert panellists, practitioners and thought leaders who are equally committed to creating an inclusive, healthy, skilled and fair City.

Unleashing the Power of Diversity Research

The new 'Unleashing the Power of Diversity: Measurement, Motivation and Management' research undertaken by Cass Business School and Ashridge Executive Education and commissioned by the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, CIMA and the City of London Corporation, seeks to find out why good diversity and inclusion strategies are not always being implemented in City firms. The report recommends a ‘3Ms’ approach to embedding diversity: measurement, motivation and management and can be downloaded here.
