An Inclusive City

Barriers to break down

How are we changing that?

Our programmes

Power of Inclusion

Our Power of Inclusion programme supports The Lord Mayor’s Appeal ambition to create better access to City careers for local people by equipping employers to build more inclusive workplaces. It provides a collaborative forum for businesses to share best practice in diversity, equity and inclusion, addressing barriers related to socioeconomic background, gender equality and disability inclusion.

Working with organisations across a wide range of sectors, the programme takes an intersectional approach to tackling barriers to inclusion. Through this work, Power of Inclusion directly contributes to the Appeal’s three impact areas – breaking down barriers, unlocking potential and aspiration, and creating career opportunities for Londoners – as part of the wider City Careers Partnership Programme, delivered in collaboration with employers, livery companies, schools and charity partners.
