The Breakfast
Series

Diversity & Inclusion is now a business performance imperative, it is not about being ‘nice’.

The seminars showcase success stories and share best practice in workplace diversity, bringing together business leaders and HR professionals alike. Companies can then develop creative ways to foster an inclusive culture by tackling the obstacles to recruiting, retaining and developing talent that truly represents all walks of our diverse society.

The Programme

"I think the best thing about The Lord Mayor's Appeal's Power of Diversity breakfasts is the opportunity to network with peers, to share ideas, and to learn. That's an incredible forum that you can pull together."

Unleashing the
Power of Diversity Research

The new 'Unleashing the Power of Diversity: Measurement, Motivation and Management' research undertaken by Cass Business School and Ashridge Executive Education is available to download.

Commissioned by the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, CIMA and the City of London Corporation, it seeks to find out why good diversity and inclusion strategies are not always being implemented in City firms. The report recommends a ‘3Ms’ approach to embedding diversity: measurement, motivation and management.

"The Power of Diversity programme is powerful indeed. Some of the diversity and inclusion initiatives that we have been most proud of in the last two years were born at a PoD breakfast. We have found so many of these meetings nothing short of inspirational; none more so than when we get to hear from people who've directly benefitted from what diversity and inclusion has to offer."
