Jamie Jones-Buchanan MBE, winner of seven Super League Grand Finals, three World Club Challenges, three League Leaders' Shields, and one Challenge Cup Final with Leeds Rhinos, is leading the line-up of speakers with a keynote speech on the importance of activity and sports to a healthy lifestyle.

Joining Jamie is Celyn Emanuel, a first team player for Leeds Rhinos Netball in the Netball Super League and a member of the Wale Senior Squad. Celyn is superbly placed to explain how to handle high-stress situations.

Neil Jones, Health & Wellbeing Lead for Workplaces at Active Leeds, will highlight the council's health and fitness provision for the people of Leeds and how it supports the city's employers.

And when you’re not being proactively active, the importance of great sleep in support of that cannot be underestimated, so also on our agenda is Dr Sarah Hattam, founder of Concilo Health, and a sleep expert, to ensure that when you are re-charging your batteries overnight, they are fully charged.

This event is ideal for local businesses and their employees with an interest in boosting mental health within the workplace. There are only a limited number of spots available so reserve yours now.

About This is Me Yorkshire

This Is Me | Yorkshire Region (thisismeyorkshire.co.uk) is the regional arm of the national This is Me campaign, led by The Lord Mayor's Appeal.

Our goal is to destigmatise Mental Health, Neurodiversity, and Disability in business by encouraging people to share their personal stories.

We are leaders, advocates, and real people, with lived experience.

Stretching from east to west, north to south, our committee works throughout the Yorkshire region to ensure business leaders know the support This is Me can bring to their colleagues, employees, and the workplace.

We live our mission through events, shared resources, campaigns, and storytelling.

As part of our Mental Health campaign, you and your business will gain the tools and confidence to share your experiences.
