The Lady Mayor’s Leaving Party Delivers Glitz & Glamour

The Lady Mayor’s and Mayoral Consort’s Leaving Party brought together guests for an unforgettable evening of glitz, glamour and fundraising, raising an incredible amount of over £130,000 for The Lord Mayor’s Appeal. 

What a wonderful way to say farewell to a remarkable mayoral year for The Lady Mayor Dame Susan Langley with all proceeds going to young people not in education, employment or training to build the skills, confidence and experience they need to secure meaningful employment.

The evening was packed with memorable moments, from a spectacular flash mob featuring 22 Pearly Kings and Queens celebrating The Lady Mayor's East End roots, which got the whole room singing, to fantastic live performances from Olivia Singleton, Leia Zhu, Beyond Repair Entertainment and DJ Deano.

Our dazzling host, TV legend Gaby Roslin kept the evening in full swing, while artist Amylou Jennings created a live painting for the live auction which captured the energy and atmosphere of the night (and even featured our Chief Executive David Johnston OBE!). Guests also enjoyed an exciting silent auction by Jumblebee and game of Heads & Tails, helping to raise vital funds for young NEET Londoners.
