ICAP Charity Day

 
ICAP Charity Day is an annual fundraising campaign where, for one day, the company give all their revenues and commissions to charity from a number of offices across the globe. Today was the 30th year of ICAP Charity Day with The Lord Mayor's Appeal have once again selected as a beneficiary. In 2021, this fantastic iniative raised £3.6million bringing the total amount over 29 years to approximately £155million

The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Nicholas Lyons, the Lady Mayoress Felicity Lyons and various celebrities and public figures were in attendence raising money for the benefitting charities through telephone broking. By giving away all their revenues and commissions on just one day each year, ICAP Charity Day positively changes the lives of thousands of people less fortunate. Through fundraising activities, which saw The Lord Mayor take to the phones and employees from across the city dress up for the day, give charities such as The Lord Mayor's Appeal's own charity partners from 2022 The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, National Numeracy, Place2Be, OnSide and Samaritans additional support.
