Calling all daredevils! A unique opportunity to abseil down The Leadenhall Building 'The Cheesegrater', one of the tallest buildings in London, standing at over 200 metres. The Abseil Challenge requires core muscle strength, a good sense of balance and the ability to control your nerves as you descend down this iconic building. A team of experts from Mile End Climbing Wall will be on hand to show you the ropes and the Abseil is open to everyone who is reasonably fit and healthy, no previous experience needed.

We are delighted to announce that the Lord Mayor, Alderman Dr Andrew Parmley, will be taking part in the Abseil himself. To sponsor the Lord Mayor please go to his JustGiving page

All 100 places for the Abseil have now been filled. If you have any questions please contact Pauliina Lyttinen, Events Manager at the Lord Mayor's Appeal, on or 0207 332 3464.
