She Can Be Becomes We Can Be for 2023
The 2022 edition of the She Can Be programme saw over 250 young people visit city businesses for a day of workshops and activities designed to help them see the city as a viable career option. The programme sits under The Lord Mayor’s Appeal Skills pillar with the aim of providing young people with enhanced employability skills and confidence, whilst raising ambitions. The programme also facilitates the opportunity to meet women working in a variety of influential roles within the city and learn more about their personal journeys.
In 2023 we will be once again working across the city of London to bring young people into businesses, operating under the new, more inclusive name of We Can Be. We hope this year will be our biggest yet for participation and will be hosting a preliminary briefing on July the 29th for any organisations interested in taking part.
