City Stories: JLL

Why are you supporting City Giving Day?

JLL is taking part in City Giving Day and through our own fundraising activities on the day we will be looking to come together as a team to raise awareness of our charity partner, Crisis.

Which charities or communities do you support?

As part of JLL's Building a Better Tomorrow sustainability agenda, we have partnered with Crisis since 2017 and last year, doubled our initial commitment by extending our partnership for a further two years. So far, we have raised over £630,000, directly supporting 636 people into housing, and we are well on track to meet our overall fundraising target of £1.2 million by 2020.

How will you celebrate City Giving Day?

JLL’s City team will celebrate City Giving Day primarily through Go Red - our team of 100 people will be encouraged to wear something red for the day. We will also be take part in a treasure hunt around the city’s landmarks as well as holding a charity raffle.

Which charity are you supporting, why are you supporting it?

Our annual JLL Property Triathlon, brings together nearly 3,500 property professionals of different ages and abilities to compete together side by side. This year’s event, which takes place on 29th June, will once again be support Crisis and we are aiming to beat last year’s fundraising total of over £200,000.

"We are proud to be joining other like-minded businesses to support City Giving Day and help fundraise to support the vital work Crisis does to tackle homelessness and make it a thing of the past once and for all."

Neil Prime, Head of Central London Markets at JLL
