10 October World Mental Health Day
City Stories: Bow Lane Dental Group
Why are you supporting City Giving Day?
Raise awareness of the importance of oral health and seeing your dentist at least annually to check for mouth cancer, tooth decay and gum disease. Regular check ups can help catch disease early when it is easy, quick and cost effective to treat.
Which charities or communities do you support?
Bow Lane Dental Group supports the Sick Children’s Trust – we sponsored a bathroom in one of their homes, provide meals and oral health products for their patients. Also Bridge2Aid by sponsoring the training of a health care worker in Tanzania.
How will you celebrate City Giving Day?
All our team “Go Red” plus we are on 14 day sugar detox. We provide them healthy free lunches for two weeks and tips and advice on how to cut out added sugar outside work!
Which charity are you supporting, why are you supporting it?
We are supporting the Rewards Project. They are transforming the way we reward our children. Getting schools and parents to Think Beyond Sugar.
“This is the fifth year Bow Lane Dental Group is proud to be involved with City Giving Day.”
