City Stories: The Ned

Why are you supporting City Giving Day? 

We’re excited to support City Giving Day this year. It’s a chance for us to engage the staff in giving back and make them feel proud to work at The Ned.

Which charities or communities do you support? 

At The Ned we support a range of charities such as Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer’s Society and Comic Relief. The Ned also partners with charities Hospitality Action, CookforSyria, Kitchen Social, StreetSmart and SleepSmart. We raised over £30,000 for our partner charities in 2018.

How will you celebrate City Giving Day? 

We’ve got a few initiatives in place, including a staff party and we’re adding a £1 voluntary donation on restaurant bills over £30 for the day. Individual teams at The Ned will also come up with their own ideas from hosting staff yoga classes to a bring and buy sale.

Which charity are you supporting, why are you supporting it? 

We will be supporting Mental Health Mates and The Lord Mayors Appeal.
