Why are you supporting City Giving Day? 

We are always looking for ways to increase our impact within local communities through our various established CSR and Philanthropy programmes. This year we will be recognising and thanking employees who have been making a genuine, lasting difference and actively encouraging their peers to contribute on an ongoing basis.

Which charities or communities do you support? 

At a global level BNY Mellon provides strategic grants with an emphasis on partnerships that create deep and sustained social impact around globally agreed themes. At a local level our employees support causes they feel passionate about through our Community Partnership Programme that provides company matching on donations, fundraising and volunteering.

How will you celebrate City Giving Day? 

Our primary focus will be encouraging all employees to consider how they can use their annual paid volunteer time for eligible community related activity. In particular our mission is to increase awareness and participation of team skills-based volunteering using our professional skills and expertise.

Which charity are you supporting, why are you supporting it? 

We will be encouraging our employees to support causes that matter to them the most and in addition we will continue to support our strategic grant partners in the UK, focusing on projects that develop business and technology skills to help build the workforce of the future.
