City Stories: Pinsent Masons

Why are you supporting City Giving Day? 

Pinsent Masons are proud to support CGD once again. CGD provides a fun opportunity for us to come together with other businesses throughout the City to celebrate the diverse range of charitable and volunteering efforts by all. It's also a fantastic chance for us to raise awareness of our charity partners amongst our staff and clients.

Which charities or communities do you support? 

We focus on charities that inspire young lives and aim to make a real difference. One way we do that is by supporting local community investment initiatives through our Starfish programme, from supporting four local schools through activities like mentoring and careers workshops to working with The Connection a homeless charity in Westminster.

How will you celebrate City Giving Day? 

We are delighted to be hosting a CGD quiz again following last year's success. We will be holding a static cycle in our reception, entering a team of trainees into the Treasure Hunt and holding a bake sale. Our whole office will also be dressing in red and we anticipate good participation in the new CGD walk.

Which charity are you supporting, why are you supporting it? 

Our global charity partner is WE Charity who offer our staff volunteering opportunities at WE Day in London, and also fundraising for their international development programme, WE Villages.
