The Big City Loyal Toast

Please join us for the City of London's record breaking opportunity to show its loyalty to the Queen and celebrate her Jubilee.

At 5.45pm on Monday 30 May 2022, the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists is organising The Big City Loyal Toast. Based on its experience in 2020 with Carols for the City, the WCIT is providing an opportunity for the whole livery movement and the City of London to join The Rt Hon The Lord Mayor Alderman Vincent Keaveny, the Lord Lieutenant of Greater London Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE and the Rt Hon and Rt Rev Dame Sally Mullally, Bishop of London, to raise a glass to Her Majesty The Queen. Singing of the National Anthem will be led by Voces8, the City's world leading acapella group.

Sadly it was too late to register for an official attempt but WCIT hope to unofficially break the world record for an online toast, which is only 350 people. So please join us online and show your gratitude and support for Her Majesty.

To join, please CLICK HERE and you will receive a link to the Zoom call.

While registering, you will be asked to kindly make a charitable donation which will be split as follows:

  •   40%  The Lord Mayor's Appeal (in respect of our work with The Duke of Edinburgh's Award)
  •   40%  David Nott Foundation (in respect of its work in Ukraine)
  •   20%  WCIT Charity
