Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week

The first week of February was Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week. Place2Be founded Children’s Mental Health Week in 2015 to shine a spotlight on the importance of children’s mental health.

This year’s theme was ‘Express Yourself’. At a time when the mental health of children, young people, parents and teachers has never been more important, it was an incredible to see so many children (and adults) express themselves and help raise awareness of the importance of young people’s mental health.

All their free resources are still available on the Children’s Mental Health Week website and will be all year – so there’s still time for you to get involved. You could:

  • Share the Schools and Youth Groups resources with teachers, governors or school staff you know
  • Try out their activity ideas for Parents and Carers
  • Spread the word about Place2Be and their work
  • Make a donation to help ensure Place2Be can continue delivering vital mental health services to support the emotional wellbeing of primary and secondary schools across the UK
