She Can Be

67% of 11 - 21-year-old young women believe that they do not have the same chances as men (Girls' Attitudes Survey 2018). She Can Be… aims to change this perception and  empower young women to make informed decisions about their careers by introducing them to roles in the corporate world so that they can see the City not only as a viable option, but an exciting one too.

She Can Be... is a unique programme, where young women visit corporate companies and learn about their work through an interactive and immersive mission in the morning. In the  afternoon, they will join a virtual session with a chance to interact with other companies and young women, solve a problem, ask questions and make a pledge. We're planning for a hybrid virtual/in-person event delivery this year. This means that young women will visit offices in the morning and dial into our virtual afternoon session from their office. After the event, participants will also attend a virtual skilldevelopment workshop to further prepare them for a future career.
