City Stories: Company of PR Practitioners

Why are you supporting City Giving Day?

We are looking to raise the profile of the great work both the Livery movement and The Lord Mayor’s Appeal undertakes on a daily basis throughout the year to support the charities we all care about on one special day by taking the “Go Red” theme onto the streets.

Which charities or communities do you support?

As a Company, we link small independent charities with pro bono Communications specialists to gain maximum exposure for the work they do, especially in relation to the criminal justice system and secondary school education. We also support the Lord Mayor’s designated charities which are Place2Be, OnSide Youth Zones and Samaritans with our Treasure Hunt.

How will you celebrate City Giving Day?

For the second year in a row we are hosting the Treasure Hunt for The Lord Mayor’s Appeal. If you don’t have time to organise your own event but still want to join hundreds of others taking part on 24 September, then sign up and let’s network, learn something and have fun!

Which charity are you supporting, why are you supporting it?

We work with Clinks to support, promote and represent the voluntary sector within prisons and the community, to help people within the criminal justice system turn their lives around and offer support to their families.

“We fully endorse the charitable spirit of The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and in building a City that addresses social issues and is inclusive and open to all.”
