Abseil returns to The Cheesegrater
On 14th September 2018, an impressive 95 brave people abseiled almost 200 metres down the East Wall of The Leadenhall Building, aka The Cheesegrater, currently the tallest building in the City of London. Congratulations to everyone who completed the challenge!
This was the second year in a row that the Lord Mayor’s Appeal Abseil Challenge took place at The Leadenhall Building. This year’s event saw the Lord Mayor Alderman Charles Bowman, Alderman and Sheriff Tim Hailes and Sheriff Neil Redcliffe along with City workers and livery members take on this incredible daredevil challenge from level 47 down to ground level.
