Place2Be wins Award for 'Best Practice in School-Based Family Counseling'
We are delighted to share that Place2Be has been awarded the '2018 Award for Model Program of Best Practice in School-Based Family Counseling'.
Presented by the Institute for School-Based Family Counseling, a California-based, not-for-profit organisation with a global mission to promote the academic and personal success of children through School-Based Family Counseling, Place2Be’s latest award was announced at the Oxford Symposium in School-Based Family Counseling at Brasenose College, Oxford.
Brian Gerrard PhD, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Institute for School-based Family Counseling said:
“The selection committee regards Place2Be as an exemplar of School-Based Family Counseling because of its emphasis on interventions that link home and school, the size and longevity of its programs, and the fiscal model that sustains its existence. Please convey to the Place2Be community our appreciation for the inspiring work you do.”
