On Friday 20 September 2019, Sheriffs of the City of London, Alderman Vincent Keaveny and The Hon Elizabeth Green, hosted the fourth annual Sheriffs’ Ball at Guildhall.

400 guests attended including a number of Aldermen, Liverymen and the Lady Mayoress Lindy Estlin, all to raise funds for The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and to dance the night away! Guests were welcomed to a drinks and canape reception in the Old Library followed by a three-course dinner in the Great Hall with live music performed by The Chance Band, back by popular demand. Fundraising activities included a silent auction with 60 prize lots, a raffle for a stunning pair of earrings by Kiki McDonough and a True or False fundraiser, a new take on Heads & Tails which went down a storm. The night was a huge success and enjoyed by all. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Sheriffs’ Ball including attendees and prize donors.

Next year’s Sheriffs’ Ball will take place on Friday 18 September 2020. To register your interest please email events@thelordmayorsappeal.org or call 020 7332 3080.
